Check out the up and coming art scene
Along both Washington Blvd and La Cienega Blvd in Culver is a growing art central of greater Los Angeles. Galleries galore featuring various styles in contemporary art. More commentary and pictures of this as I make a special arts tour of Culver City.
Well, I cant tell you much about Culver City. I do not frequent this place too much and the only time I am around here is when I am hungry and what to go to Tito Tacos. Sometimes I will go through Culver City when I am coming from or going to Venice Beach.
Misc. Downtown Views
"The Historic Washington Building"
a side angle view
along Mexican restaurant
"Old Brick wall"
as seen downtown
"A nice piece of downtown real estate"
not occupied but looking picture perfect
is proud of its downtown. It's not a ghost town (as seen in the picture) by the way. Here, a visitor sees more of the local crowd, not a huge number of people. This is quite a nice thing for someone like me who gets a bit annoyed with huge crowds at times!
"Come to Culver City..."
to see a movie at a downtown cinema house. It's extra special to see a movie in a city which is very appreciative of the art and history of cinema.
"Lovely Water Garden"
by city hall building
kept very well with plenty of greenery around
