Whilst room décor is tired and dated, rooms are spacious and clean with good amenities. Room comprises king bed (or 2 queens on request), sitting area, TV, fridge and telephone. There is a small wardrobe in the washroom, an area outside the bathroom with dressing area. Bathroom has usual facilities including over bath shower and is provided with basic toiletries. This hotel has much more a feel of a motel. For the price I paid and given that I was travelling solo, this was a great find.
Within easy walking distance there is a Jack in the Box and Denny's restaurants.
Doheny State Beach is within easy walking distance with BBQ facilities alongside the beach.
No unique qualities per se, however, this is a great location for a stop off on a Pacific Coast Highway road trip.
