We weren't needing a romantic spot for the night... simply a comfortable room in a good location for our return drive home, the next day. We hoped to find a spot with wifi access, so we could kick back in the room, upload photos, check email and basically veg. out after a long day of driving through giant redwood forests, along the rainy, rugged and beautiful Pacific Coast and people watching. Luckily we got the very last room at the hotel for the night, though it was a smoking room, so... smelly. But comfortable, with a good sized bathroom, a king-sized bed, 10% discount at Marie Calendars, room service from Marie Calendars and a free full-buffet breakfast in the morning. And free wifi in every room, did I mention that? HBO on TV, too. Sliding glass doors on to a small balcony, overlooking a shopping mall. Romantic? No. Clean? Yes. Smelly? Yes. Well, you can't have it all. :-)
Unique Quality: Free wifi and 10% discount at Marie Calendars.
I drove all day form San Jose to Eureka and was very pleased when i arrived there. There is a interior/exterior pool that is heated and very inviting. The jacuzzi is spacious, the service is good and the next morning breakfast very nice (not cheap).
It's a bit pricey but you get what you pay for : )
Unique Quality: Great location, quiet, nice rooms, great pool !!!
We stayed for $125 with the jacuzzi

We were on a driving tour & had our Great Dane Molly (only a small girl at 160 lbs!) with us. As any large dog people know, it's not always easy to find a decent hotel that will allow dogs of that size to stay.
The Bayshore Inn was extremely clean, rooms were large, staff were very pleasant & were wonderful with Molly. We had room service from Marie Callenders, located accross the parking lot, the food was hot & was delivered quickly.
The bed was a little hard, typical of a mid-priced hotel, but did not detract from our stay. Added bonus was a microwave in the room.
They did charge a one time pet fee, the same price for one night as muliple nights.
We came into Eureka ahead of schedule and were treated wonderfully. The staff was great and very helpful. The rooms were very clean. Custodial staff were easlily found when needed. Great Pool.
Chose the Bayshore Inn after reading previous reviews on TripAdvisor. Stayed there on 23rd and 24th May 2006. We were impressed. Reception staff were smartly dressed and very helpful (arranged the next stop for us at the Best Western in Rohnert Park, Santa Rosa). Rooms were large, modern and clean. Hotel right next door to a Marie Callendar restaurant which gave discounts for hotel guests. Hotel provided free internet access to guests. Nice pool and sauna area. No complaints at all - highly recommended.
Stayed here while in Eureka for business. Perfect for me. Room was large with two good size work stations. WiFi was excellent, fast and trouble free. Location was quiet and appeared safe. Walked across street to large supermarket for any necessities.
Overall it was everything I could want in a business hotel.
We stayed at this hotel for just one night and were pleasantly surprised. We stayed in room 225 which was a two room suite for under $100. The room was clean, comfortable and had a microwave and refrigerator.
The pool was fun for the kids, half of it inside, half of it outside. The breakfast was the best complimentary breakfast I have had. From scrambled eggs, to sausage, biscuits and gravy. It was great. The staff was also very pleasant and helpful. They told us which beaches were best and also places to eat. A great quick escape. I will definitely stay there again!
this hotel was a great value for the money. we spent two nights here and found the room to be large enough to be comfortable. we had a microwave and fridge that turned out to be a big help.
the room (and entire hotel) was very clean. the breakfast was very nice with hot and cold items available. we took advantage off the workout room, pool, sauna and hot tub....all were great! the front desk staff was very helpful as we were new to the town.
the only downsides we found: our room was on the street side and there was quite a bit of traffic noise, and the pool was in a separate building which meant walking outside in the cold weather after using the hot tub and pool!
