Very Filthy!!

We had a girls trip planned and it didnt turn out so well. The hotel looks ALL great online but when we got there it was VERY FILTHY!! We got to our room the hallway smells like sewage, the room stunk soo bad to where we had to go buy candles and blankets. They should at least turn on the AC to help with the smell. The bathroom smells like urine!! Our BED SHEETS was dirty with SEX STAINS on it!! I went downstairs to tell the manager, but instead he asked me right away to see if we used the toilet. I was like... what does that have to do with my BEDSHEETS!! He then radio a guy to go upstair to check, and he said yeah its dirty, let me move you across the hallway. His attitude was not apologetic at all and not a sorry out of his mouth. The service sucks!! This was like a MOTEL , NOT A HOTEL!! My experience next time when you make your reservation and when they tell you there would be no refund, it means theres something wrong with it. I would NOT recommend this hotel to ANYONE and to anyone who read this review...TAKE IT SERIOUS!!!

Travel Tips for Garden Grove

visit the Crystal Cathedral!...

by neopetsfan

visit the Crystal Cathedral! Why??? I'll tell you in the words of Dr Robert H. Schuller: 'I'd like to invite you to visit us while you are here. Take some time out of your hectic schedule to tour our beautiful, 32-acre campus. Enjoy a stroll past fountains, reflecting pools, mosaics and statuary set amidst beautifully landscaped verdant gardens. I promise you'll leave relaxed, rested and refreshed. Year after year, the church has been listed as one of the 'Most Beautiful Attractions in Southern California'. We look forward to meeting you and remember... God loves you, and so do I!'

go to The Block At Orange (it ain't square!). It's the most imaginative dining, shopping and entertainment experience. Restaurants, nightclubs and movietheaters are found nextdoor to book stores, boutiques and sidewalk cafes. All located in one imaginative open-air promenade. At The Block, you can take the kids skateboarding, buy a great gift, stop off for a coffee or have dinner. It's the perfect place to spend the day with the family or the evening with friends. So, explore and enjoy!

If you're bringing the kids to Orange County, don't spend all your money at Disneyland. The young travelers might be even happier if you took them to the collectors' paradise at the Mile High Comics Megastore, located at 12591 Harbor Blvd, Garden Grove, California (714) 741-2096. If your kids aren't comic book aficionados, they may still go wild over the cartoon related memorabilia or trading card games such as 'Yu-Gi-Oh!' There's something for everyone, and the knowledgeable and enthusiastic staff are collectors themselves who love to share their hobby with customers at a fair price. Don't miss this store when visiting Garden Grove!

1st Annual Native American Pow-Wow, Santa Ana College, 1530 W. 17th Street, Santa Ana, California 92706-3398, (714) 564-6000!

Pow-wows are big in Orange County. The one we attended in July 2002 was held for the first time at Santa Ana College, and it was a resounding success! The only sad thing to report is that we were NOT allowed to take pictures because some tribes believe that a photograph captures part of the soul. I was brokenhearted, because these costumes and dances would have made FABULOUS photos! If you're in Garden Grove next summer, be sure to check and see if the Pow-Wow is scheduled during your visit. You will NOT want to miss this unforgettable performance of tribal music and dancing, along with the delicious food sold at the concession stands in addition to the beautiful Native American jewelry, arts and crafts!
