Lake Cahuilla County Park: County Park in Indio is a good value
Gorgeous view of the mountains, full hookups, and a locking gate at night. Far enough out on edge of town to be quiet. (Unfortunately, there is a shooting range not too far away, and you can hear the shots in the morning.)
Unique Quality: Man made lake is a little different than the natural ones we are used to.
