I haven't, but those who have stayed here, are quite satisfied. All the ammenities expected are offered including Internet access, a fitness center, outdoor heated pool and spa.
The rooms offer a view of the ocean (Higher priced) or the garden (Lower Priced.)
Monday through Thursday they offer an evening wine pour in the lobby which is a great ice-breaker for hotel guests.
Unique Quality: The building is not much to look at, however it's eleven stories high and has served as a landmark in the west side of La Jolla for many years. It has been renovated recently and it is pet friendly.
The in hotel restaurant is Cusp, located on the 11th floor. Breakfast, lunch and dinner are served here. Normally, I go for the lunch and the view. Besides a delicious, fresh-from-the-farm, Coastal Mediterranean menu, the view is fantastic.
Hotel guests are offered a hosted wine hour every evening between 5 & 6 pm. One or two complimentary glasses of wine per person is served in the cozy lobby.
At the Hiatus Lounge drinks and a bite to eat by the pool is a great way to wind down. Happy Hour is offered 4 to 7 pm each evening.
One thing I really like is their shuttle service. They will take you as short a distance as La Jolla Shores Beach to as far as a five mile radius . They also rent out bicycles.
They offer package deals for almost anything a tourist would be interested in, so, if you'd rather someone else making all the arrangements, they'll do it for you.
