Further Away But Has It's Advantages
The Comfort Inn is one of the places I stay on business trips to Livermore. It is further away from downtown and my workplace than the Hawthorne Suites, but it is quieter and is next door to a Costco (hey, I like that). You can get to downtown Livermore and East Avenue without getting on I-580, which is a definite advantage. It serves a nice continental breakfast and the breakfast room is seldom crowded. Ask for a room away from the I-580 side; however, the freeway noise is not that bad in the front rooms.
