Marriott - at Long Beach Airport (LGB) - a gem!
I had a great three-day stay at the Marriott in September, 2004. The whole hotel was spotlessly clean, but free of masking fragrances.
Room service was prompt, and accurate.
Pools (both of them) were quite nice.
Unique Quality: Great view of the airport -- you can watch the airliners taking off in the morning. And the big picture windows slide open, so you can hear the airplanes, too, if you like (I did).
