 | | | | Westin Bonaventure Hotel: LA's Largest Convention Hotel | Satisfaction: | | | | |
I used to come to the Bonaventure a long time ago for parties, dances, and concerts. it has been a while since i had been here but i can see why they refer to the Bonaventure as the "city within the City". This place is very big, you can actually get lost in here. On this occassion, my uncles who are jewelers in the Jewelery District here in Downtown decided to get a room enstead of driving all the way back to Palmdale. So we went to dinner and drinks and i got a chance to take some pictures of the room here. Considering the Bonaventure is such a large hotel the rooms are rather small. The are 42 restaurants, shops, and boutiques. There are 1354 rooms as well, and i beleive something like 135 suites. The prices of the rooms fluctuate quite a bit depending on what is going on in the city. The lowest price i have seen to stay here was 135.00 per night but it can go as high a over 250.00 dollars. On this particualr night the rooms were going for 185.00 per night. Last week they were going for 289.00 per night. And of course the suites are more expensive. The Bonaventure caters to the business traveler and there is a business center downstairs. Some of the rooms are also geared for the business traveler.
The lobby is a six story lobby/atrium, and the building is in the shape of five cylinder shaped towers. Inside the building is mostly made of concrete. The elevators shoots through the roof of the atrium and up the outside of the building. Theme: HotelPrice: US$180 and up » Currency ConverterComparison: more expensive than averageAddress: 404 S.
