This is - I think- the cheapest option for LAX airport hotels from my web trawl through the usual motels (motel6.com, super8.com, etc) about US$70+tax.
There is a rather uninispiring Mexican restaurant on site, and it is adjacent to an Arby's restaurant, with others, including Denny's, about 10-15 minutes walk along West Manchester. There is a store just across the road to buy soft drinks or snacks, fridge and microwave in the rooms.
This was OK I will push and give it 4 from 5 just because if you are on a budget it is inerxpensive - and as well as airport pick up, they dropped us off at Hertz car hire office (which is very near) so saves you on cabs. But I don't really see it as 5 "sunbursts", the Days Inn kind of self regulated star rating
Tea/ coffee orange and pastries complimentary in the morning
For the tourist though - it is only a one night shot, stay near Disney, Universal, or whatever you fancy as there is not much out here
