Go to the Getty Museum. The building's architecture and landscape, let alone the art it houses, is magnificent. I go every year, and I'm still not tired of it.I used to spend summer weekends basking in the sun at the beach at Marina Del Rey. I would read a book, people watch, plane watch (taking off from Los Angeles International Airport), boat watch, jog to Venice Beach and back, and close my eyes to listen to the waves.
