Beware when you book
My wife, mother, sister and I stayed at Aspen Creek 230 over the Labor Day Weekend. We had booked the condo thinking we had the entire condo. However, when we arrived, we found that 101 Great Escapes had reserved only two rooms of the three rooms in the condo for us, and if we wanted to use the other bedroom we would have to pay another $30 per night. There had been no discussion with the staff member, Sarah, about sleeping arrangements, so she must have just thought my wife and I would be in one room and my mom and sister would take another room. Why she thought that, I don't know at all. We've always gotten separate rooms for my mom and sister, so I know I didn't tell Sarah to put them together. I wrote an email afterwards and the owner basically said I should have caught the "2 bedroom" notation on the confirmation, but I honestly can't find anything to that effect on the paperwork that was emailed to me. So we paid an extra $67.80 for the third room, and the owner has no intention of trying to work out a solution to this with me. Obviously, I won't be booking with them again, given their lack of interest in their customers. Hardly anyone at the condo complex, so maybe others had the same dim view of this condo rental outfit.
