A BW jewel
I usually don't even consider the BW Hotels being below my travel standards but this one is a remarkable exception. I was delighted to find this Inn, overlooking the Marina with its own sandy beach and playground. The hotel offers a beachside pool and sun deck as well as the popular Beachside Café for breakfast and lunch.
Rooms are large and very comfortable. The staff is cordial and polite. I stayed there for 2 nights at room # on the west corner of the building which is larger than average and has a priviliged view of the beach.
Unique Quality: Good price, quality and service. Staff is friendly and professional. Quiet and perfectly located. Private beach with some outdoor activities.

A perfect start for your Californian trip...
This is our favourite hotel to go first after we have arrived in LAX Airport: not more than a 10 minute drive from the major car rental companies away. It is right in the centre of everything, a good base to venture out to Venice, Sta Monica, and more of the Los Angeles beach scene.
Unique Quality: With our 11 hour jet lag, we usually are wide awake at 4 am -and from this moment on it is a long wait for the Beachside Cafe to open, where you can enjoy breakfast outside at the poolside. There is no better way to start the day!
