    Great Accomodations in Mendocino Area

    by

This Inn is everything you want in a romantic, cozy inn setting, without the pretentiousness. The grounds are beautiful and consist of little unique cottages, a main house and some newer adjoined rooms. They have two donkeys and they are very pet friendly. Some rooms have hot tubs, but the one on the property is great and you can sit in it and see the sun set over the ocean! There is a private beach cove a short walk from the Inn that is great for exploring. At low tide you can even walk over to the a tiny island. Everyone was friendly. Breakfast both days was spectacular. There were always cookies on hand. What else can you ask? I wish we had stayed more nights!!
Please note: rates below are per night per room.

Unique Quality: A great big yard for your dogs to run free!
    Donkeys.
The shared main room in the house had books, videos, and a telescope for sky watching.

    Great place to stay

    by

We spent one night at the Inn, and wished we had time for more. The grounds of the Inn are spacious and have wonderful views of the coast. There are several accommodations to choose from, including individual cottages, smaller attached rooms, and newer rooms up on the hillside overlooking a meadow. Everyone have access to an outdoor hot tub at the top of the property, which we used and found to be fine, but was suprisingly empty at other times.

The hosts at the Inn were friendly and helpful at all times. Breakfast is served in a charming cottage overlooking the coast.

Just a short walk down the highway there is access to a wonderful little cove on the ocean. The only other person there when we visited was a teenage boy from across the road who was fishing.

Overall, it was a great experience at an unpretencious and friendly Inn. Unfortunately we didn't bring a camera on this trip, so we haven't any photos to post.
