Mendocino's Most Peaceful Place to Stay

I satyed here two years ago and was not very impressed with the accomadations. New owners have made fantastic improvements. The cabins are seperated by a lrage lawn giving each one a sense of solitude and privacy. We stayed in "Serinity" which had a large window over the bed giving you the sensation of being in a tree house.
The staff, seeing we had been there years ago, left us a "welcome back" card with a bottle of wine.
The staff was very friendly and accomendating. Every afternoon at the lodge, local wines from Mendocino County was served. This gave us an oppurtunity to meet other guest and to get pointers on what to see and do in Mendocino.
I would recommend Pacific Mist to anyone who enjoys the free sprit style of the North Coast. If you're looking for the Ritz, this isn't for you, but if you what to enjoy a peaceful, laidback Mendo experence...this is your place :-)

Unique Quality: There is a spa/hot tube located in the forrest that is fantastic! We went early in the morning to relax and listen to the wind in the pines.
