simple, sweet

it's tough to give this place a perfect review because the night before, we stayed at carneros inn, and that's hard to beat. it was, however, quite pretty.

overall, staff is friendly, grounds are sweet and private.

our room had nice things and not-so-nice things. best thing about it was having french doors that opened to the garden. we had breakfast out there just as we awoke. other cool things... they have dvds on hand and 'magic hour' is from 6-7pm where a local vintner comes by to serve some wine & cheese and you can meet other guests.

annoying things included our french doors not working properly upon check-in, our shower only spouting out cold water, and then our tub-- which worked fine except for the jet massage function. it was overwhelming and made me queasy. also the controls on the tub were not designed intuitively. we give up!

it was pretty. sweet. i still like carneros inn more. WAY MORE.

Unique Quality: sweet, overlooks small lake, french doors open to the view...
friendly staff
cozy
