El Garces Hotel and Railroad Station: 100 years too late

You can't stay there today, at least not yet. The old El Garces Hotel (1908) once serviced both as a hotel and railroad station, also was just one block off Route 66. Santa Fe Railroad and Fred Harvey Company built the hotel. Nearby is the old plaza for downtown Needles. The structure is protected as a historical landmark and under reconstruction.
