By the Oakland Marina
This is a very beautiful hotel conveniently located off the I-880 and on the Oakland Estuary and Marina. If you ask for a water side room, you will get to see the life on the estuary flow past you. They have a complimentary pickup and drop shuttle service within Oakland, complimentary breakfast and a complimentary evening cocktail and light meal. The last is my first such experience at any hotel and I liked it very much. The place is quiet and peaceful the only disadvantage being that you can't walk down to a restaurant (with one exception) or grocery store nearby.
