The tall building in this photo is not the Oceanside Marina Suites at the Harbor. Here's the story:
Matcrazy1 made an Oceanside page and on it he has a photo of this building. He said it was an apartment building and I wrote to say that it was probably a hotel.
In searching out the name of this hotel, I found out that it was indeed a residential building full of Condos. Of course, I wrote Matt about my mistake--all of this is documented on his Oceanside page.
So, while searching for the name of this building, which is, "Marina Towers," I came across a "real" hotel at the Harbor that looks interesting to stay at and thought to tell you about it.
Unique Quality: It's location is the big seller for this hotel--which looks more like a motel to me--it is surrounded by water on three sides and the price is not too high considering that it's right at the Harbor and has pretty views. They offer a Continental breakfast with the price of a room and free wifi.
I've heard some positive and negative comments about this place and honestly, the location and price seem to be worth it, especially if you're looking for a place with one or two bedrooms and a kitchenette. They don't have air conditioning, but in this area that is not usually needed. There are very few really hot days here. Also it seems that people rent these rooms to have a party, so the noise level can be high sometimes.
In general, the staff seem to be helpful and will try to accommodate your needs.
