Very Nice Hotel with Excellent Service

We stayed at this hotel for six nights from Dec 26th until January 1st and overall were very happy with the hotel and the staff that worked there. The hotel is very clean, provides a good breakfast and the staff who work there are very friendly and accomodating. We used the hot tub, which was very nice and our girls liked swimming in the pool; however, I found it a bit on the cool side. The only down side is the distance from DL. Although the hotel is only a five minute drive it takes 20 minutes on the ARC bus system from the hotel to the park and it only runs once an hour. If you want to be able to go back to your hotel room using the ARC that runs only hourly makes it very difficult. We didn't find this too much of a problem as when we went to the park we planned to stay for the day; however, if you have young children who need to take a nap in the afternoon or you want to break up the day and go for a swim and are using their ARC bus system I would recommend a closer hotel. This is no fault of the hotel, just the location. On the plus side it is located within 10 minutes walking distance to the Block at the Orange and you can do a lot of shopping, good resteraunts and movies there. For the price we paid (100.00/night) you can't go wrong! We have stayed at two other places closer to DL and this was by far the nicest place with the best staff! We would go back again!!
Loved the improvements

The hotel has changed ownership since our previous stay, and the rooms are now spotless with new beds, new paint and new furniture. Very comfortable room, great staff, and I loved the free wireless connectivity.
For those who like it, flat screen TVs are available in both the sitting room and the bedroom.
As always, the location is ideal for reaching any place in Orange County with easy freeway access that's just far enough away so that it's not a noise factor.
We plan to stay here on all our trips to Southern California.

The Hotel is very good in general. The rooms are clean, the breakfast is ok, the bed is very comfortable, but what is really outstanding is the staff. The guys were so friendly that I felt like home. Everybody. Starting with the General Manager Mr. Moctar to Sinned, Oscar. You know, I Highly recommend this hotel. Me and my family had a great time there!

This hotel is awsome, "Clean", "Comfortable", "Homey".
It's more than what I expected.
Flat screen TVs are available in both bedroom and living room.
Friendly stuffs, comfortable beds and their decaroation let me feel like home.
Clean towels are always available at pool side.
Moreover this hotel just few miles away from Disneyland. My family had a joy staying in this hotel.
I highly recmmend this hotel for either family vocation or business trip.m

This hotel is so clean, spacy and modern. I love the modern touch to the rooms. We stayed in the suite with two queen beds and there was a cool flat screen tv and in the living room area where the couch was there was also a cool tv. The decorations, curtains and bedding are all so modern and nicely decorated. Everything was so nice and so is the staff . I would recommend this hotel to anyone its so affordable too. I would definitley go there again :)

I stayed here for 2 quick nights on business. Very comfy beds and great breakfast!
The room is spacious and clean.
I didn't use the pool, but it looked quite nice. I would definately go back here again.
It is quite far from Disney, but the ART shuttle runs from right outside the hotel. I wasn't in the area for Disney (wish I was!). I did go to the block at orange one evening and its a 15 min slow walk.
Hotel has quality, value and service - New Owners Hit the Mark

We booked a king suite and a queen suite. The rooms exceeded our expectations. The hotel had recently gone through a complete remodel and it showed. Everything was new and well thought out. The lobby was welcoming and the staff was excellent. I would recommend the hotel to anyone. I ran into another guest at breakfast that had stayed at the hotel (called Hawthorne then) before the remodel. He told me that he hadn't planned on coming back, but had heard of the change and was glad that he did. I've stayed at several hotels in the area over the years and I don't know any that offer what you get at the Meridian unless you spend much more. You will appreciate the hotel If you are in the area for business or Disneyland, etc. I know we did after trying to keep up with our grandson.

We stayed at the BW Meridian right after they had finished a major remodel. Everything in the rooms is brand new -- our suite had a kitchen, and two plasma TVs. The waste-not-want-not mentality means things like: the lights go out when you leave (the light switch uses your card-key). The soap and shampoo come from stylish dispensers instead of disposable containers, and the bed had something more like a duvet than a true bedspread. We understand that's because of a desire to always supply clean linens, while the bedspread may not always be cleaned at many other hotels. The room was impeccably clean and very comfortable. The staff were friendly and very helpful without being obtrusive.

This hotel is about as real of a gem as you can find in anaheim, its only about 5 minutes from Disney,has free parking even if you have more than one car and offers a very sizeable breakfast with hot items included! The rooms are very large well laid out and both the bedroom and living room area have flat screen plasma tv's! there is a good size fridge much larger than the small minis most hotels have but also note there is no freezer at all in these fridges so youll still need a cooler. no in room microwave but at least there is a comfort station available with a microwave in there as well as vending and washer/dryer. pool is clean and hot tub great as well. Honestly the true gem is that its only 5 minutes from disney but away from the hustle and bustle so you are not hearing lots of noise from street and people. secure glass corridor runs perimeter of hotel to keep you safe you need room key to acess. also first hotel iv seen with high chairs in breakfast room! above average and most likley my new disneyland hotel from here on out. Also shopping to the hearts content and vans skateboard park just down the way at block at orange.....BRAVO BW Meridian inn and suites staff here is a model for other hotels,customer service top notch! In this economy this hotel is at the top with realistic prices and lots of amenities...also a green property so helping the enviroment!

Fantastic and clean pool and spa, room, gym. Price is the best part; Nice and quiet, friendly staff. Very close to Disneyland and grat room.
