Unique Quality: A truly remarkable resort. One of the Marriot's signature hotels, the Desert Springs boasts numerous golf courses, water canals that take you throughout the resort via boat, and 18-hole putting course, several pools, etc. The resort is a true vacation getaway for those looking to get out to the desert. (Plus, for the guys, it is the popular destination for bachelorette parties, so there are always plenty of ladies to be found at the pool.)
Marriott Desert Springs Villas
Unique Quality: The 'villas' is Marriott's timeshare resort, located 'around the corner' from the Marriott Desert Spring Resort. The villa's have more of a 'condo' feeling, rather than a hotel feeling, with separate buildings spread out throughout the golf courses and pools.
Marriott Desert Springs Villas II - awright it's a time share - but it's a GREAT timeshare. Bring yer $$$
$375/night
Unique Quality: Impeccably maintained - the scent of flowers is wonderful after a Winter of hibernation.
Is it nice there in December? We have two separate weeks booked (timeshare) near Christmas at the Marriott Desert Springs Villas. I've heard great things about the resort-- suppossed to be top notch 5*. Due to a change in jobs-- we may not be able to use them and will probably rent them out. If anyone is interested, please let me know. I think December is prime time there-- right?
December is fine. Usualy sunny...or partly cloudy. About 60-80 degrees in the daytime, with chilly nights. (but hey, if you come from a snow filled december, it is like summer! go swimming!) also, yes, the marriot is great there. Might I also recommend the marriot timeshare resort in Phoenix, Arizona.
december is nice. somedays it's a little too cool to enjoy the pool though.
