Great event hotel
New Year's Eve Masquerade Balls and West Coast Swing dance extravaganzas have me returning time and again to this hotel. The facility is gorgeous since the remodel. The room is comfortable and clean. The staff are courteous.
Unique Quality: There are areas to work, rest, play, and work out. The lobby has some tables where you can use free WiFi or relax in the bar/lounge. The building surrounds a spacious courtyard with a fabulous pool, lounges, walk-up bar, with plenty of lounge chairs in sun or shade. The gym room has modern and well-maintained equipment.
I go to this hotel once a year and I already liked it when it was the Wyndham but I have to say they renovated it with such great taste, I was completely amazed. The entrance is beautiful, very modern with big white round sofas. The room was also greatly remodeled. And the beds, VERY comfortable with high quality comforters, I hadn't slept that well in a long time...
The pool was awesome before and they made it even better by adding colorful mattresses on each chairs!
The receptionist was very helpful and friendly..
And affordable for such a luxurious hotel...about $199/night
Unique Quality: Amazingly comfortable beds
Opinion of Price: less expensive than average

Wyndham Palm Springs
i booked in here on boxing day and had a great stay. the ouside and reception are very smart and match an elegance that 5 star hotels offer. the receptionist was helpful and friendly and found us a smoking room with a balcony and pool and mountains view. the room was large, well furnished and very clean. the pool and hot tub were both great and very hot. this hotel is in a beautiful location with great sunsets over the surrounding mountains. on a down side they cant mix a drink!!! i would thoroughly recommend this hotel..
Unique Quality: great pool. great views. friendly staff. great location. great rooms...

Wonderful Hotel in very good location
We could not have been happier with our hotel. The suite overlooking the pool was a bonus. The hotel staff were very helpful including the bar staff whom had us all in stitches. There were nto many tourists the week we stayedl. There was a conference being held but it did not affect us at all, in fact it was a bonus as we had the pool almost to ourselves each day. %We spend most mornings by the pool with a cool drink and most afternoons went out sightseeing to the national parks and surrounding area.
Unique Quality: Very clean, dayly maid service, nice suite overlooking pool. Staff were very helpful

Wyndam Palm Springs
$150 U.S.
Unique Quality: Great pool area with multiple jacuzzis and bar area.
After getting married in San Francisco and driving down the coast. We booked into the Wyndham Palm Springs for 5 nights for a little rest and relaxation.
"Up in the mountains"
Its really good to take a drive up in the mountains above palm springs. The views are fantastic. This is on the way up to Idlewild which is a really cool mountain town.
"Aerial Tramway"
If you go to Palm Springs you have to take a ride on this thing. The journey only takes 14 minutes and you go up about 8500 feet! When at the top you have two options 1) Sit in the restaurant then go back down 2) Get off your ass and go for a walk in the forest to be rewarded with a view like this (you can even see the curve of the earth)
