Two block south of Colorado Blvd.
You can never go wrong staying at a Hilton Hotel. They are usually nice and clean with all the amenities. I have never stayed overnight at this Hilton but the company I work for holds their quarterly meetings at this particular Hilton in one of the banquet rooms. The food is always very good. We also hold our company Christmas party at this Hilton.
Unique Quality: It's not right in the mix of the busy Colorado Blvd. so you may have to do some walking to get to Old Town Pasadena or the Paseo Shopping Center. It would be a very short taxi ride to these areas so it shouldn't cost too much.

I spent four day here around Thanksgiving, sometimes a quiet time at hotels. The staff was very professional. The room I had was a suite and was worth the money. It is near old town Passadena and its shopping and restaraunts. The convention center is just out side the front door. Despite being in the middle of things the hotel is very quiet (maybe the season I was there).
Unique Quality: The best quality is the short walk to Old Town.
