You can never go wrong staying at a Hilton Hotel. They are usually nice and clean with all the amenities. I have never stayed overnight at this Hilton but the company I work for holds their quarterly meetings at this particular Hilton in one of the banquet rooms. The food is always very good. We also hold our company Christmas party at this Hilton.
It's not right in the mix of the busy Colorado Blvd. so you may have to do some walking to get to Old Town Pasadena or the Paseo Shopping Center. It would be a very short taxi ride to these areas so it shouldn't cost too much. On Cordova you will see the entrance to the hotel parking structure.
