Four hours north of Placerville is Mt. Shast. One of the many volcanic mountains between California, Oregon and Washington. The elevation of this volcano is approximately 14100 feet. One day I will join the group of individuals that have hiked and climbed this mountain.

Fun in Placerville

My grandmother lives in Placerville, so I've been there fairly often. It's a nice town, surrounded by a beautiful conifer forest.

I'll probably be moving here in a couple of years, if I decide to transfer to UC Davis.
