Best B&B in Point Reyes

Best (5.0 of 5.0 stars)
by written on May 2, 2008

I highly recommend One Mesa Bed & Breakfast. Mila and Stan are the gracious hosts who greet guests with a personal note on the fence at arrival. A number of self contained cottage rooms with separate entrances are surrounded by humingbird gardens and rolling hilllsides.
Our cottage was Sunset Cottage, a one bedroom with a sleeper in the livingroom, complete with full kitchen, and wonderful bathroom complete with Japanese robe for the outdoor hottub. The full size fridge was stocked with basics- fresh roasted beans-in leaded and unleaded, cream, granola, juice, and fresh cookies on arrival. The kitchen cupboards also had many basics to add to any meal we prepared- some spices, etc. We had books, games, a few DVDs to choose from and more. Very reasonable for a luxurious French Provincial B&B, with feather beds and French bedding. Wonderful treat. Can't wait to go back.

Unique Quality: Hot Tub
Great views
short walk to town
horses rides not far away
delightful breakfast delivered
reasonable for the luxury
privacy
