I send my family here
I lived in this suites motel when I first came to Sac and now send family there when they visit (because it is close to me and about 10 minutes from the airport). It has a standard but highly efficient and practical layout (for 2 people), it is clean, and because most of the guests are working, it is generally quiet (other than I-5 traffic noise).
The motel has a frig, microwave, stove, the basics for cooking, a big bathroom, a big closet, a dresser, a lounge chair, and a counter that serves as a table and as a desk. There isn't a pool, but there is a nice paved trail that runs along the back of the motel that is great for walking the dog or running.
I usually pay around $70 for guests by booking online. You get a better rate the longer you stay, and if you are crazy and stay for over a month, you don't have to continue paying the motel tax.
The motel is dog friendly (if you consider a $75 one-time fee dog friendly) and there is a walking trail behind the motel and a nice oak filled park south on Gateway Oaks Drive.
