Carve Names into Sandstone Bluffs

From Califia Beach to Cottons Point there is a large stretch of Sandstone Bluffs. Many people carve things like "Suzy loves Joey" or "Bill Smith was here" into the soft sanstone bluffs. I was walking on the beach and saw these kids " tagging" They later caught up to me and asked if I had taken their picture. I said "yes" told them I would put this online. There response was ...COOL !!!

Best Bagels In Town

My husband could eat bagels every day so he really loves the Bagel Shack. He often goes here for a light breakfast. I have not had breakfast here but I do like the bagel sandwiches I've had for lunch. I also enjoy the casual California atmosphere and the cute tropical decore !

You can also choose from a variety of bagels at the counter, to take away. Mix or match them anyway you like.

"Joe from San Clemente"

San Clemente is my home town. I was born and raised here but actually live just north (about 2 blocks from the border) in Capistrano Beach which was not listed. My hobbies include surfing, skateboarding, motocross, and building hotrods. I would like to add traveling to that list.

This is a sweet little town. I lived at the pier. This is the view from my second floor deck balcony.

My neighbors were amused that I was frequently to be found on my balcony at sunset...camera in hand. One commented "you must have alot of sunset pictures".
Indeed I do...and thought it would be fun a make a VT album of some of my favorites ( wish I had room for more).
I have included one of the pier...lucky enough to catch a few pics there of dusk and the pier lights coming on.
So here they are. They make me smile...I hope they do you too.

I am more likely to be on the beach during foul weather than on a sunny day.
This misty day was begging to be enjoyed and photographed.
