Linda My fondest memory of San Diego is relaxing in a nice restaurant, with new friends, having interesting and funny conversations and a delicious meal.
Magnify this 15 times and you'll have an idea of my new fondest momery!
Good weather
by vanderlust
When we arrived in Oct, the area hadn't had rain in about 180 days. It started the day we arrived. The showers were short and sun fought through the clouds quite often. Despite the clouds and rain we were able to enjoy the beach.
San Diego is the fastest if...
by SDSU2001
San Diego is the fastest if not one of them, the fastest growing cities in the United States and in the world!!! The one thing about San Diego is the real estate, it is very expensive to live here!!! And San Deigo's crime rate is not as bad as the national media makes it out to be!!!! San Diego is very family oreinated, so if you deicde to move here do not hesitate, because the only thing that is a real concern is where to live and how much it is, so come expereince San Diego!!!!! I reacll one day going to class, and someone was accidently dumped on by a very friendly segal!!!!
UCSD a great place to meet the locals
by lmkluque
On 1 December 1995 The University of California at San Diego, (UCSD) renamed their University Library Building, 'The Geisel Library,' in honor of Audrey and Theodor Seuss Geisel, (Dr. Seuss,) for their generous contributions to the library and their life long efforts to improve literacy. Theodor Geisel lived his last years in San Diego, and through dontations, of his wife, Audrey, many of his collections are on display at the UCSD Geisel Library, which is open to the public.
There are three major university campuses in San Diego, University of San Diego-(USD,) San Diego State University--(SDSU) and University of California at San Diego--(UCSD) and many more not so major. The point being, these campuses are lovely to tour, they have great bookstores and there are plenty of opportunities to meet young people--and some not so young.
Lifeguards training
by matcrazy1
It seems that San Diego's lifeguards are training all year round and that they are really well equipped and prepared for the summer season.
I met this team from my picture on Imperial Beach in April.
