San Diego Zoo is a must. Go across the Coronado Bridge to North Island and Silver Strand. Make sure you do not miss the beaches. La Jolla is nice but crowded and expensive. Mission Beach, Ocean Beach and Pacific Beach are great. My favorite is the Point Loma Light House.The ocean. I moved away in 1979 but I miss the sound and smell of the water.
