  • Inn Suites Hotel San Deigo/Balboa Park My price average out to about US$100 per night.

    These hotel is conveniently located in the center of all the attractions (Balboa Park, San Diego Zoo, etc) and a short drive from the airport. Compared to the other hotels I looked into this was the best value for the buck. The accommodations were nice. The room comes with air conditioning, 2 queen size beds, and there was a large pool which was great for cooling off after a long day of touring.

  • I've been to San Diego twice now and both times we have stayed at the Inn Suites which I highly recommend. The rooms are great and so is the service. I belive we got a rate of $80 a night through the 800 #. The lady told us that was very reasonalble compared to had we called them directly. Even with a AAA discount, if we had called the San Diego Inn Suites directly it would have been around $110.

    If you have the extra money, get a suite by the pool. The rooms are a little bigger and there are a few more ammenities plus hey you get to say you stayed pool side :) Also, the people who work there are extremely nice. There was a small problem and they went out of their way to correct it. This hotel was visited by alot of the old time celebrities and the rooms are named after them, the Lucille Ball Suite, the Gloria Swason Suite, the Gene Kelly suite etc..
