I had to make arrangements at the last minute when I found my reservation was lost at the hotel where the conference was held in 2006. The Ramada set me up with one of the last rooms available on short notice. This is a good location near Sea World, a big shopping district, the US Navy, and a lot of good restaurants. The Orange Cab company took me to the conferences every day and were always on time.

The Ramada was in the middle of extensive remodeling efforts. From what I learned from the workers, the place will be pretty nice when it is done, and with the location they should have a lot to offer tourists and business people on budgets.

Located a short cab ride from the harbor and close to Sea World. Good shopping within easy walking distance, and many restaurants and night life places.
