Relax
by basstbn
Sure - there are a lot of things to do in the San Diego area, from golf to sightseeing to surfing to theme parks and zoos. But don't try to cram it all into a couple of days. Allow yourself plenty of time in this fine city, The relaxing strolls through Balboa Park, Seaport Village, along the beach fronts.

Balboa Park
by vigi
We left the zoo at around 4pm, had not covered the whole zoo yet... Actually, the zoo is so big that it's difficult to do it in hald day. But due to limited time, we decided to go to Balboa Park, which located next to zoo entrance.
VT friendly city - THANK YOU LINDA
by matcrazy1
I never forget VT-ers from San Diego I met.
First of all a very, very nice VT-er Linda (lmkluque) who picked us up from Los Angeles Airport (hmm... what we would do if not?) , gave us a lot of very helpful suggestions/advices, showed us around San Diego and not only, picked us up with her car to our welcoming VT meeting in Oceanside (GREAT!!!), helped us to find a car to rent, showed us what is really good food :-) and many, many more.
BIG THANK YOU Linda and... welcome to Poland.
I met Vicki (expresso) from San Diego on 12th April in Oceanside VT meeting - wow, we were crazy talking a lot, I hope to meet her again here or there now :-).
Do they go to sleep early?
by matcrazy1
There are not many people on streets, in restaurants, clubs etc. especially in business days. Do they go to sleep early or just stay at their homes? What time do they usually start to work? At 8-9am?
There are empty streets even in a downtown in the weekend evenings - in contrast to southern European touristy cities.
