Great place to stay in SF
My friend and I stayed here for a week and a half in January 2008. We had a private room with our own bathroom on the 4th floor. We had a television, safe, and a mini refrigerator. The facilities were very clean and they had free waffles in the morning. You have to wake up early and stand in line, which is not bad for free waffles! There was free internet and a movie room. The workers at the front desk were very helpful! They had a lot of great tips and showed us more efficient ways to use the awesome public transportation system SF has to offer. It is up a hill but whatevers. The hostel was in a good area and close to a lot of fun things to do!

Nice hostel, good location
Although I only spent a couple of nights here, I quite liked this hostel. It's clean, the staff are friendly and helpful, and the location is good. Downstairs there is internet access, a kitchen, courtyard and tv room. There is a second USA hostel, justa round the corner, where there is also a bar and, I believe, some additional facilities, although I never went there. To be honest, there's nothing particularly outstanding about this hostel, but if you're looking for somewhere cheap to stay within the city, then this is a pretty good bet.

USA hostels san francisco
its not bad for the price. the place is clean, the people are nice and the location is quite good. its about 3 blocks from union square. walking distance to chinatown also. i stayed here for 4 nights. laundry is available and there's a tv room but i didnt use it. there's free pancake and waffle breakfast which u cook urselves with the mixture they provide. that was quite good. there's also a kitchen for u to cook ur own stuff. the only thing is i booked for a 4 bed room but was given a 6 bed room. and the price for a 6 bed room is supposed to be $18 a nite but i was charged 20. i later found out from my room mates that they were also charged that way so i didnt ask the counter abt it.
