Edward II Inn- Marina B&B

I always recommend that my friends stay at the Edward II Inn located in the Marina/Cow Hollow neighborhoods. It is close to many restaurants, shops, bars, the Presidio, Golden Gate Bridge, Ft Mason, Crissy Field, Marina Green. It is also very close to many important MUNI bus lines (30, 42, 22). The neighborhood is very lively. Real people (who can afford it) live here!

Unique Quality: This is a smaller, quaint, boutique hotel/B&B. Ask for a room in the back. It is located on the corner of Lombard Street, which can be quite noisy. There are no "views" to see from the hotel, so there is no point in being in the front. Breakfast comes with your rooms.

Even my high-maintenance friends enjoy staying here. I think a room (not per person) is ~$110 night.

  • Opinion of Price: less expensive than average
