    Workout facilities and clubs at Hyatts, Harbour Court, Mark Hopkins, Stanford Court. All have spectacular viewscapes. Especially, The Griffon & Harbor Court Hotel--sailboat slips dot the bay crossing under Bay Bridge near Ferry Building.

  • This is my type of biz hotel. Across the street from my appointment, near great restaurants, free wifi, and smaller but well-appointed (non-chain) rooms. I paid $239 a night, less than the $300+ neighboring hotels were offering.

    Tiny lobby and even tinier elevator tells you they aren't catering to the masses here - and that's a good thing.
