Marina Inn San Francisco, San Francisco, CA - Reviews and Hotel Information

We stayed one night at the Marina Inn on Lombard and Octavia. We paid $77 for a double room including taxes. This is a very reasonable price in San Francisco.
The Marina Inn considers itself a Bed and Breakfast. It has 40 rooms.
The hotel is NON-SMOKING AND PET FREE.
The building is a 4 story building, built in 1924. It has a lot more character than the other motels on Lombard Street.
Parking is on the street but difficult to find. However, the Marina Inn has an arrangement with the Star Motel across the street where one can park for $10.

Clean but small room; large bathroom.
Floral bedspread, pine furniture, TV, telephone.
Friendly staff.
We asked for an "inside" room because of the noise in rooms facing Lombard Street. Unfortunately, we had noisy neighbors in the room downstairs and had problems sleeping. The walls are very thin.
Breakfast is continental and included in the price of the room. It's served on the second floor and trays are available to bring food to your room.
Well located a few blocks away from Union and Chestnut Streets (lots of cute shops there and not as touristy as Union Square)
