Close to China town, this is a very affordable hotel that is a great deal for San Francisco. It is run by a very nice family that tries hard to please their guests. You are greeted with a bottle of their own wine. The rooms are spacious with a large closet and a kitchenette area with a small refrigerator and microwave, as well as dishes. Also, free high-speed internet is available in all the rooms. Breakfast is provided daily.
The only negative about this hotel is that it is a little bit of a walk to the interesting parts of town. But a short cab or bus/streetcar ride will take you anywhere. Although the immediate area of the hotel is nice, if you go a few blocks south and west, you will reach the Tenderloin district, which you probably don?t want to find yourself at.
Kitchenette in every room, free high-speed internet, free cable TV, great staff, nice breakfast included.
