    This hotel is placed on great location. Room is very big and comfortable. Everything is great including the view. We have view of alcatraz from our balcony.

    Ih has outside pool and great view of Alcatraz.

    Second part of my honeymon in November 2005. This hotel is situated close by to pier 39 (sea lion territory). It was comfortable, good size and well priced. Next door to hotel on Fishermans Wharf is Johnny Rockets Diner and has got to serve the best hamburgers and milk shakes I have ever tasted, well worth a visit. The staff were very helpful with advice on gettting around and sights of interest. There are not too many other facilities at this hotel (it did have a small pool) but it is clean comfortable and well located.

    This hotel is literally across the street from Fisherman's Wharf, and easily within walking distance to everything along the Embarcadero. We did not rent a car, and mostly used the public transportation (The Muni). There is an IHOP adjacent for a convenient meal 24-hours a day, but also some great restaurant options close by.

  • This hotel has the best location in San Francisco, a 2 minute walk to Pier 39 and right in the middle of Fishermans Wharf which is the main tourist area of San Francisco. The room we had was really big with 2 double beds and fantastic views to Alcatraz. The room was serviced everyday and was lovely and clean. The hotel itself has a swimming pool but we didn't go in it being November but there were people in it while we were there.

    Our first night, the room seemed somewhat noisy - I attributed this to it being a Saturday night. The next morning I was awakened by the barking of the elephant seals at Pier 39 - much more pleasant than an alarm clock. I later discovered that a window in our room was partially open behind the curtain. Close the window - no more noise problem. The room was great. We enjoyed the pool as well. This hotel is as close as you can get to Fisherman's Wharf and Pier 39. It's also on a cable car route.

    The bay side view was great - One can see Alcatraz on a clear day. We watched part of the Air Show from our room.
