Can NOT Recommend

I would not recommend this place. The room (and especially the bathroom) smelled strongly of cigarette smoke even though it was supposedly a non-smoking room.

The fridge (which we had been promised we would have and so bought food to store in it) did not work AT ALL--we complained to the front desk and they supposedly sent a "maintenance man" but the next day it still did not work and food spoiled.

The place in general is run down (paint peeling off the walls), the bed was okay, but pillows were lumpy and uncomfortable. If I go back to this area, I will be trying one of the other independent hotels in the neighborhood.

Warning: parking spaces are VERY small, had problems parking a mid-sized car--if you have an SUV or large car it might be impossible.

Front desk staff was not rude, but did not help solve our problems.
