A hidden treasure
We stayed here for two nights. It's in a great location...there is a MUNI bus stop literally feet away from the front door! It's away from the hustle and bustle of the major downtown, but still convenient to get there if you want to go. We could walk (though a haul) to Haight/Ashbury and felt very safe to walk around at night. The owners are very friendly and helpful with advice. The room was simple, but clean and comfortable. I would absolutely recommend it, and would stay there again myself!
Unique Quality: There was parking at a minimal cost to us, which is unheard of in this city!
