    Situated in the heart of San Francisco's vibrant Union Square neighborhood, the Maxwell Hotel San Francisco is a striking art deco structure with a theatrical flair. I stayed here for business when it was the raphael. Looks like it has definately upgraded its decor.

    Built in 1908, and recently restored, The Maxwell Hotel San Francisco reflects the drama of its Theatre Row address. Each room is stylishly decorated in a sophisticated blend of theatrical and Art Deco influences and appointed with writing desk, custom bath amenities, velour "Frette" bathrobes, iron & board and in-room safe.
