Lax and Burbank allow Motorcycles free at the short term when not
occupying a car slot.
Any idea of a parking place near SJC that is free or reduced charge for
Motorcycles?
SJC parking costs the same for motorcycles as it does for cars. If you want to park for free, park by the factories on Robert Ave or Mathew St. off De La Cruz, walk 5 minutes to long term parking, and take the shuttle. I wouldn't leave anything nice sitting there, but I have parked my car there in the past for 72 hours at a time with no problems. San Jose's street parking policy limits you to 72 hours, but I doubt they check very often.
Watch a San Jose Sharks game. I was able to book a ticket via the ticketmaster website to a Sharks game against my favourite team (Penguins) and I became a Sharks fan for a day. It's amazing, the fan support the team gets. The fans were loud and the place was rocking. The best memory I have is the niceness of the people. I never once felt I was going to get mugged while I was in town.
The course is open for play - weather permitting - 364 days a year. The course is closed on December 25. Play on the course occurs generally from dawn to dusk, as tee times are scheduled in relation to sunrise (5:40 AM in mid-June and 6:50 AM in mid-December) and sunset (8:00 PM in mid-June and 4:50 in mid-December).
Hidden Villa (www.hiddenvilla.org) is a working organic farm located at 26870 Moody Rd. in Los Altos, CA. There are tours given around their organic garden (which produces enough food for the entire year!!), visit with their farm animals (sheep, cows, pigs, goats, farm cat, & other uncaught vermin), hike through their 16 miles of open trails, stay at their youth hostel (closed summer months) and visit their educational center where you can learn about "Green Building" and other alternative building techniques that help the environment. It is such a nice change from the mass-consumerism mentality to visit a place that is doing a great job conserving our natural resources.
Indigo Palms is a casual clothing brand for both women and men, "Men's and women's denim for island living". The smallish store is located almost in the middle of the Santana Row shopping area in San Jose.
The clothes are quite bland and you can get similar garments from much cheaper stores, such as H&M or GAP. Or if you would like to follow the trends, go to Diesel or Urban Outfitters instead.
Caltrain will take you to or from San Jose and runs as far south as Gilroy and as far north as San Francisco. This is a great option to get to SF if you don't have a car. As the train goes north toward SF it stops in all of the major cities along the peninsula (west side of the Bay) so it's a great way to visit those cities as well. If the Airport is your destination you can now take the train to Millbrae where it will connect with BART which now runs to the airport.
