Santa Barbara's affordable inn

I discovered that the way to get a low rate is to walk into the lodging places, which are walking distance apart. If you call in to reserve, the rates are high compared to when you walk in. Usually, the rates run at $129.00 Sundays to thursdays. During weekends they require a 2 night stay. Even if you walk in, during weekends the rates are high. But during weekdays, if you walk in, you can get it for as low as $99.00 depending on what hotel. For those on a budget, theres a hostel nearby and an inexpensive hotel called "State Street Hotel". I've stayed at State Street and would not go back. There are alot of insects in the room and all restrooms are public, located in the hallway to share with other guests. They also claim to have parking but it was a very small space that they share with Subway.

Unique Quality: The Beach house inn is one of my favorite lodging places in SB. The rooms are very big and cozy, with a fireplace and a plasma tv.
