There is a small but clean pool as well as a fun wine and cookie reception daily in the lobby. This is not to the hotel to stay in if your plan is to relax in room all day, this is definitely a hotel for those who plan on enjoying State street and the rest of Santa Barbara.
The Inn is about a 5 minute car ride from downtown where all the restaurants and fun are. Plenty of cabs also run back and forth. It's far enough away though, to get peace and quiet when you are ready for bed.
I found the kitchen in each room especially nice if you are staying for a few days. You can store your left overs and snacks for when you don't feel like going out. It was so impressed that it had a sink and microwave (there is no oven though, FYI).
I also really enjoyed the little front lawns, even though we were hardly in our room, they were a cute addition to the landscape.
