The hotel was attractive and the limited grounds were kept up. We had a terrible time getting the staff to clean our room and restock supplies (shampoo, soap, etc.). Even though we booked the room for four people, we had to go to the office to request pillows for the hide-a-bed. The hide-a-bed's mattress was painful to sleep on - every spring could be felt through the padding. Continental breakfast was included however not very desirable. Stick with the muffins - everything else is stale. Getting to the breakfast items is another matter. A cleaning staff member would consistently prevent guests' access to the breakfast items by wiping what was already clean or restocking items that were plentiful. The first day of my stay, I thought it was just a fluke, but by day four, I figured out that playing defense for the breakfast items must be some form of entertainment for the staff.
Unique Quality: The area had a neighborhood feel about it, which I liked. Pool and patio area were very small.
Directions: Near wharf, one block from beaches.
