    FOUR POINTS BY SHERATON (LAX).

    This is where I stayed on my return from El Paso.

    As convenient as Radisson LAX but I'm not so sure about the access to LAX Transit Center where you can take the Big Blue Bus from.

    US$65 + 14% Tax.

    Almost as good as Radisson but at a much cheaper room rate.

    If you are a Starwood Preferred Guest, you may prefer this hotel instead.

    Stayed at the SMFS in December. Its nearing the end of its transformation into a full blown Sheraton and was really good value.

    Rooms are spacious , though could do with some extra drawer space. All the things you expect in a US hotel are there huge bed, iron and board, coffe facilities , huge TV , no minibar etc. The staff were extremely helpful and pleasant at all times and the bar can be recommended for drinks and food.

    The beach and nightlife are 5 mins walk from the hotel, though at night you may want to take a taxi as its only a few bucks. DO hire a car though. This goes for wherever you stay as nothing in LA is easy to get to , however the SMFS has a free carpark and is so close to the freeway that even I couldnt get lost.
