"Sorry the liquer license isn't valid anymore"
There is one restaurant in Shoshone. A diner of the..less classy kind. They have no liquer license, (maybe now they do?) the carbonation in the soda machine was non functional and the food..yes it had seen better days. Shoshone Inn, the only motel in the dump, was over-priced and the so-called Cable-tv is a satelite dish in the back that makes it possible for the guests (Why do they call us guests when we pay stupid amount of money for a hard bed?) to see 3 channels, where as two are jumping so hard one gets motionsickness. The most wonderful thing about this place is the pool! The advertise it loudly, but 1/2 a mile away from the motel, there it is!! A naturally heated spring-water pool! No clorine! We went there at night, watched the stars and laid back against the sides of the pool, enjoying the hot water and the bats coming down to sip from it. And believe it or not. That in itself was worth the crappy food and no beer!!
