Overlooking the ocean

I found this condo complex on VRBO.com and liked what I saw. Right on the ocean, a pool, parking and ocean view. Solana Beach was a central locale for us so visit the sights of San Diego without the hassles of the crowds downtown. We were very happy with both the condo and the community of Solana Beach.

Our unit was on the 2nd of 3 floors and overlooked the Pacific Ocean with pelicans flying by within reach several times an hour. From our balcony we could watch the surfers and the dolphins and saw great sunsets almost every night. Two good sized bedrooms and 2 bath, large living area and fully equiped kitchen. Covered parking on the same level.

The beach was accessed down a staircase right in front of our unit. Not much of a beach at high tide, it was quite roomy at low tide.

We stayed for 2 weeks and the cost worked out to $1500/week + $500 security deposit.
