Wonderful Inn!

I stayed at the Inn at Sonoma for two days and really enjoyed my stay there. The location couldn't be better, just a couple of blocks from Sonoma Plaza.

The outside of the inn isn't very nice but the inside is lovely! Rooms are beautifully decorated in a country style, with matching patterns and textiles in the bedcovers, curtains and wall papers. They are large and very comfortable, with fireplaces. There is a turndown service. Bathrooms have tubes and good english toiletries.

Their signature breakfast is sumptuous and delicious! In the afternoon there is also complimentary wine and hors d'ouevres, all wonderfully presented and tasty.

I loved this place, it's warm, welcoming and has a very good service, and highly recommend it to anyone planning to travel to this region!

Great Place to Stay

We stayed here while in Sonoma for a wedding weekend. This inn is wonderful - the rooms are well-appointed and service is great. It is a beautiful inn in a convenient location. The fireplace and comfy beds made it a dream. I didn't want to leave!

Sonoma is Super!

We just returned from Sonoma and stayed 3 nights at the Inn. Breakfast was an egg dish, potato, 3 kinds of bread, fruit, cereal, juice, coffee, tea. This was wonderful each morning and a great way to start the day. Cookies, pop, coffee, water was available all day long. In the afternoon, they had cheese, crackers, veggies, and wine!!!!!

The rooms were cute and beds were very comfortable!!! At the desk, they will give you free tasting cards for the wineries and you can check out bikes to ride. It was a 2 block walk to the Plaza which has shops and restaurants.

I wish I was still there and drinking wine.

He took us to private vineyards not open to the public and the experience was priceless. It is well worth the money and you get a fabulous lunch too!!!!

Fantastic Inn!

I found the inn on the internet while booking our trip to northern Cal. and we spent our first three days at the Inn at Sonoma. What an awesome way to start our vacation. The room was huge - king bed, fire place, balcony and a huge bathroom (concidering it's an "inn"). Breakfast was delicious, wine and snacks everynight in the common area, turn down service and squishy Gund Teddy Bear in the bed for your entire stay. Staff was very helpful. Rates were reasonable.... not cheap, but definitely worth the nice "extra" touches you get. Location is perfect. Only 1.5 blocks away from the plaza, so it was an easy walk to dinner.
Highly recommend it.

Three Snaps and a Twist!

My partner and I spent three nights at the Inn at Sonoma. We both wished we had stayed longer.

This inn is just what the doctor ordered; it's idealy situated (just a few blocks from some really fine dining in Sonoma square), it's quiet (if you ask for a room opposite the parking lot!), and the included breakfast is very tasty.

One minor gripe: breakfast is served in the large lobby greatroom opposite the front desk, so it feels like you are eating breakfast at a very expensive Fairfield Inn!

My wife and I spent 2 nights here and was pleasantly surprised by the accommodations offered. This was a very clean "Inn" with a very inviting and warm atmosphere. Our room was on the second level with a private deck. We were able to enjoy complimentary wine and cheese in the afternoons and an excellent complimentary gourmet breakfast in the mornings. I wished we had stayed longer to enjoy the surrounding area. This is centrally located with an easy walk or drive to many restaurants. Also, there are many vineyards that are within a few minutes of driving. I would highly recommend this place to anyone wishing to stay in the "Wine Country".

We spent three nights at the Inn in April and found it to be perfect! The rooms are great, the service friendly, prompt and discrete, the staff helpful and the location ideal.

Would we stay again? In a heartbeat!

Excellent B&B

by TripAdvisor Member loca4444

We just returned from a 5 day stay at the Inn at Sonoma for our 1st year anniversary! We really enjoyed the inn. The breakfast was fabulous every day and everyone was very friendly and helpful. We also used the bikes for a day of wine tasting and had a great time. Our room was wonderful with a very comfortable bed and fireplace as well as a patio. I will only comment that the evening wine and appetizers is a little generic and could be improved. We would highly recommend this B&B to everyone!

Highly recommend!

We stayed at the Inn for 3 nights after spending 3 nights in San Francisco. We found the location ideal for being able to park and walk into town, to dinner, to a winery etc. After all the driving around Sonoma County it was nice to be able to just walk. The rooms are clean and quaint. The bed seemed smalled than a queen but nonetheless was comfortable. The daily breakfast was fantastic! There was a wide array of foods for everyone. The hot tub on the second floor was a little dirty and there were no lights for when it got dark (well we couldn't find how to turn them on). The personnel were very friendly and helpful. I would recommend this Inn to anyone who is looking for a nice, comfortable place to stay while not breaking the bank and likes to be able to walk around.

We greatly enjoyed our 1 night stay at the Inn. Our 2nd floor room was clean, comfortable, and had a balcony. The Inn offered afternoon wine and snacks and the breakfast was delicious. The staff were friendly and very helpful with restaurant recommendations. Furthermore, it was conveniently located within walking distance to the square. Highly recommended.
