What so great about Lake Tahoe.. Is that you can Shop.. Go hiking.. Or Fishing, Boating, Swimming..Beach views and Mountain views all at the same time.. And you can walk everywhere.. The casinos are right there and everything is so close by.. The best of California/ Nevada all in one. We usually stay at the Stardust Lodge Hotel. It is perfect small place, close to shopping and Casnos.. And close to the beach. You can walk every where.. and a great price!! If you ski .. Heavenly is right across the street!!
"Vikingsholm"
This place is in Emerald Bay.. About a mile hike down.. And a good work out back up!! Bring some food and water down with you.. Have lunch by the water with the ducks and geese.. Walk around and go to the waterfall.. Breath taking photo ops!! Take the Tour into the Vikingholm house..and learn all about its history and the surrounding area.. You can easly spend the afternoon there.. When you are done head back up.. youll be done for the rest of the day.. I give it 4 stars!!
"Meadow Hikes"
All over Lake Tahoe there are nature Hikes .. they are everywhere.. the best ones for us was the Meadow ones.. We had kids with us so nothing real strenuous.. plus the views are awesome and you can take your time on them..
